What is Summer Training Project?

Summer Training Project (STP) is an opportunity to live, work, play, and learn with other college students for eleven weeks. You will learn about how to walk more closely with Christ, develop ministry qualities, and learn leadership skills.

We will be living at North Central Michigan College in downtown Petoskey, MI, and working full-time at businesses in the area. Biblical training in Bible study, evangelism, theology, and other spiritual disciplines is provided outside of work hours by our campus staff.

When is It?

Dates for Summer 2017 will be announced in the previous January.

What Does It Cost?

$2,200. Students are encouraged to raise tax-deductible financial support to cover the cost of Project. All Project participants are required to attend the support raising training session, which is led by SCF staff over the weekend of March 15th.

How do I sign up?

The registration process has three parts:
1. Apply online between now and March 26th.

2. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance packet in April with detailed information about Project, support raising materials, and parental consent forms.

3. After you read through the acceptance package, you may confirm your attendance online. This confirmation requires a non-refundable $200 deposit, which counts towards your cost of Project.
