Campus Ministry Intern
I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelors degree in Crop and Soil Science. Before attending MSU I grew up in Hudsonville MI and I heard the gospel from a young age from my parents and in the churches I attended. By the time I came to MSU in the fall of 2011 the gospel was something I believed myself and I was eager to meet other Christians. Immediately I started attending URC/SCF and my experiences in these ministries quickly proved to be some of the most stretching but altogether beneficial of my college years. I saw more and more how the gospel should impact everyday life, and I grew dramatically in learning how to lead, share the gospel with, and minister to those around me. I didn’t think about doing full time ministry until my junior year when the Lord started to call me to continuing in it after graduating. My hope and prayer is to see many on this campus come to know Christ and tell others about Him.
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
(2 Corinthians 5:20-21 ESV)
